　　Code of Silence introduces us to Deaf catering worker, Alison Woods. She’s struggling to make ends meet, juggling two jobs, in a police canteen and a local bar, while also doing her best to support her Deaf mum, Julie. When DC Ashleigh Francis calls on Alison to lip read the conversations of some dangerous criminals, she is plunged into a new and exhilarating world.

　　In the wake of Eamon Cunningham’s death, the Kinsella family is thriving. However a new threat rears its head when members of a Turkish cartel inform the Kinsellas that Eamon owed a them sizable debt – and since they killed him, the debt is now theirs. Elsewhere, Viking is released from prison intent on making trouble, Amanda suffers a personal tragedy, and a looming presence from inside the family returns.
　　The new season will see the Kinsellas at the top of the game in Dublin, but killing Eamon Cunningham has created as many problems as it solved. 　　故事始于一段浪漫的恋情，两名主人公来自截然不同的世界，一个是曾经纵情声色犬马而今独自一人渴望真爱的Danny（本·卫肖 Ben Whishaw 饰），一个是神秘寡言英国军情六处总部的间谍Alex（爱德华·霍尔克罗夫特 Edward Holcroft 饰）。即使出身和性格迥然不同，二人度过了最美好的一段时光。
　　然而浪漫的恋爱故事并未向顺利的方向进行，不久后Alex神秘失踪，Danny开始一步步追查，一个个神秘线索把他引向一个让他窒息的可怕事实。他发现自己已经卷入了一个纷繁复杂又危机重重的间谍世界。他能否凭一己之力，与这个强大的对手斗争到底，找出真相？

　　导演乔梁对原著进行了颠覆式修改，故事的结局将和老版有着非常大的不同。
　　厦门保春制药厂一名叫祝四萍(董璇 饰)女职工被谋杀，犯罪嫌疑人锁定她的前男友龙小羽（崔林 饰）已经潜逃。董事长罗保春因心脏病突发身亡，药厂之后宣布破产。做模特的女儿罗晶晶（张歆艺 饰）从北京请了律师韩丁（贾乃亮 饰）来帮她打财产官司。韩丁喜欢上晶晶，并邀请她到北京同住，不久两人确定恋爱关系。小羽（崔林 饰）突然出现，相带晶晶离开，但被警察抓获。晶晶请求韩丁为小羽辩护，韩丁违心地卷入了扑朔迷离的案件中。最终小羽被释放却带走了晶晶。韩丁发现四萍的案件似乎另有隐情依然在调查。小羽在厦门通过融资成了有钱人，以100万的价格准备收买韩丁所在的事务所，阻止他对自己的调查。到底真相是什么？小羽是否真的是杀害四萍的凶手？

　　本剧为诗选类剧集，主创明确表示每季一个新故事。
　　第二季由来自《善地》的William Jackson Harper担任主演。Harper将饰演Marcus Watkins，刚和一个本以为会是自己真爱的女人，结束了一段多年的关系。突然爱情失意的他，重新开始寻找属于自己的另一半。
　　第一季回归客串的卡司有Anna Kendrick、Zoë Chao、Peter Vack和Nick Thune。
