The film reveals the mechanisms behind the weakening of democratic principles in the United States through evangelical fundamentalism. Religious groups and popular TV pastors proclaim the coming of the end of the world just as the Bible says. They see its origins in the coronavirus crisis, the unrest in the Middle East, and the potential development of LGBTQIA+ rights. 《全民运动会》节目采用国际先进的趣味拓展训练赛道，节目模式类似安徽卫视在2010年夏季推出的《男生女生向前冲》的节目模式，以水上冲关为载体，整个节目分为户外和棚内两个环节，户外游戏主要设置为多人单项游戏冲关类，户外冲关成功者将获得棚内游戏的参与权。棚内游戏为单人过关，节目将设置近十种截然不同的游戏关卡，选手只需要凭借勇气和信心成功闯过这些关卡，就可获得最终的魅力大奖。
