　　经历了开膛手杰克的模仿者一案，Jones（鲁伯特·彭利·琼斯 Rupert Penry-Jones 饰）获得了所有所有下属的尊重，尤其是之前总是小看他的警探Miles（菲尔·戴维斯 Philip Davis 饰）。这一次他们要面对的凶手变得更加残忍、血腥。白教堂区陆续出现残忍谋杀案，凶手模仿的是上世纪50、60年代的著名黑帮孪生首脑Kray兄弟。经过进一步的调查，犯罪嫌疑人锁定在Kray兄弟的后代——Jimmy和Johnny这一对双胞胎身上。而他们这一次犯罪的目的就是向当年指证Kray兄弟的证人们报复，并巩固自己的黑帮势力。

　　1978年，大连开往三棵树的列车上，年轻乘警汪新第一次执勤就在抓捕行动中负伤，却因祸得福结识了铁路公安老刑警马魁，二人结为师徒，并肩战斗在铁路公安第一线。在这条铁路线上，40年间，他们经历了蒸汽机车、电力机车、动车高铁时代，见证了祖国的伟大成就和人民生活的巨大变化。汪新、马魁为代表的一线铁路公安干警，反扒、打拐、缉毒、巡线、守护、打击盗抢骗、扫黑除恶，几十年如一日破大案、解决小案、给旅客送温暖、共和谐。为了保卫人民生命财产安全，铁路公安干警甚至牺牲了宝贵的生命。列车上来来往往的旅客，带着各个时期不同的印记，展示了人情冷暖、人生百态。新老两代干警也在自己的人生经历中得到了境界的升华，忠诚警魂、薪火相传。

　　讲述中情局的柏林分部出现了情报被泄露的情况， Richard Armitage饰演的丹尼尔奉命调查，但他越深入地查下去，就发现水越深，很多人的命运可能被永久改变...

　　任慕妍（唐艺昕 饰）和张瀚宇（陈晓东 饰）彼此相恋，但这份真挚纯洁的感情却敌不过冰冷的现实和张瀚宇高高在上的董事长继承人的身份。最终，任慕妍被迫离开了张瀚宇，出国深造，实际上，慕妍的腹中已经怀上了张瀚宇的骨肉，离开了爱人，慕妍只能独自将孩子生下来，取名为豆豆（张籽沐 饰）。
　　一晃眼多年过去，任慕妍学成归来回到了伤心地，但和离开时不同，此时的她已经变得自信而强大。再见到张瀚宇时，他已经成为了他的青梅竹马范昀（毛林林 饰）的丈夫，虽然心痛，但任慕妍还是选择放下爱恨情仇，将精力放在调查破坏集团经营的主谋身上。

便利店员工许悦意外穿越到了平行时空，又因为乌龙事件阴差阳错成了临城少帅萧暮城的未婚妻，两人从相互试探到信任，最终走在了一起。

　　The eighth series has been confirmed to air starting on Friday 6 January 2012 on BBC1 at 9pm. However creator Tony Jordan has said that this will be the last for at least a while and the last with the current cast. Guest stars featuring this season will include Sheila Hancock, Martin Kemp and Paterson Joseph.Peter Polycarpou and John Barrowman have also revealed on Twitter that they will have guest roles in series eight. This will be the third series to be filmed in Birmingham, the fifth in HD and the fourth series featuring all of the current cast. Adrian Lester is also set to direct an episode, in which Mickey is kidnapped.Other cons will see the team take on the world of slimming pills and pull off a gold heist. Jaime Murray reprised her role for the final episode.

　　该剧讲述失去丈夫的女主高爱琳和神秘的邻居男人金本之间展开的故事。
