秉承《茶餐廳》精神，谷德昭繼續深入香港飲食文化，今次帶大家尋找消失的「香港味道」。很多以往香港人愛吃的美食，隨著飲食習慣改變、口味改變、製作步驟精簡等慢慢消失，例如以前飲茶常見的「菲林」芝麻卷、雞蛋仔的前身潮州冷糕等。隨著越來越多外來食品進駐香港，舊有的味道被淘汰，有的在香港幾近消失，而鄰近的澳門卻保留了下來，例如吳廷記冷糕小食的冷糕。一連15集的「消失的菜單」把部分食物從歷史洪流中撈出來，並重現在觀眾眼前，帶香港人來一場味覺的回憶之旅。
