　　幼稚园老师乔花枝（陈慧珊 饰）与母亲、继父过着安稳的生活。一天她收到一封有关继承生父江耀柱的百里香餐厅的律师信，但餐厅里根本没有出色的大厨，于是她到处寻找天才厨师马友（吴启华 饰）。但性格冷傲的马友因感情受挫无法再品尝美食而不再出任大厨。原来马友本是孤儿，幸好遇到启蒙老师耀柱。为了报恩，马友最终报答了花枝担任餐厅大厨。花枝同父异母的弟弟江上游（林峰 饰）对这两名突入其来进入餐厅的人充满敌意，但同样为了父亲的餐厅，三人开始互相合作，上游与马友也开展了一段亦师亦友的关系。

　　22年前的朱莎娇（薛家燕 饰）是澳门某夜总会的台柱，与港大学生祝展辉相遇后发生了一段情不久便怀孕了，无奈展辉要远赴纽约进修，朱莎娇诞下了女儿祝君好（佘诗曼 饰），此后独自抚养。娇的金兰姐妹文贵芳因不堪男友的抛弃的打击，逼儿子文初（张智霖 饰）喝下了腐蚀性液体，幸好及时发 现才救回了文初的生命，但文初从此变成了哑巴，娇可怜文初，便收养了他。
　　20年后，君好与文初都长大成人了，以兄妹相称之余两人都十分孝顺娇。金胜（唐文龙 饰）是文初的好朋友，胜对文初也十分照顾，每当文受欺负他都挺身而出。君好终于在这时见到了亲生父亲展辉，认识了展辉的爱徒司徒礼信（马浚伟 饰）。
　　礼信非常关心文初是否能医治声带，想尽办法帮忙寻找医生。文初再次遇到了生母，但是在母子相认之后，生母却选择了给文初假地址再次离开。这时，文初与礼信都发现了自己爱上了君好，文初希望君好得到幸福而主动退出了三角关系。文初得到了礼信介绍医生的治疗下能恢复说话的能力后继续与娇生活。而娇为了君好的前程，故意一反常态，希望君好能离开自己……

　　据外媒报道，尽管当前《硅谷》还在播放第四季的内容，但 HBO 已于今日宣布同 Mike Judge 和 Alec Berg 续签了这部讲述科技界创业故事剧集的第五季。
　　不过据 Vulture 报道，当《硅谷》新一季归来的时候，其中一名主演（T.J. Miller 的 Erlich Bachman）将离队。

　　由香港电视广播有限公司制作的32集清装电视剧《状王宋世杰2》，是《状王宋世杰》系列电视剧的第二辑。本剧集仍启用原班人马，由徐正康监制，张达明、黄子华、郭蔼明主演。
