　　夜幕笼罩下的肯尼迪国际机场，一架从柏林飞来的航班悄无声息降落在废弃的跑道上。蹊跷的事件引来各部门的关注，美国疾控中心纽约地区首席医疗官伊弗雷姆·古德温泽（寇瑞·斯托尔 Corey Stoll 饰）带领部下进入机舱，发现两百多名乘客在毫无知觉的情况下神秘死亡。从未见过的寄生虫、突然复活的死者、离奇消失的巨型棺材以及官方语焉不详欲盖弥彰的说辞，全部为这起事件蒙上了诡异而危险的面纱。犹太老人亚伯拉罕·赛特拉基安（大卫·布莱德利 David Bradley 饰）的警告历历在耳，接二连三的凶杀则将伊弗引向未知的方向。

　　书生万文通（郭晋安）生性聪明，父万年仁乃一俭朴石匠，母亲贤慧，连同舅母德福与表妹李大妹（梅小惠）过着简朴的乡间生活，平时来往者有生性木讷的包金（欧阳震华）及王润发（罗君左）。一日，文通於水中邂逅美艳少女胡芊芊（邓萃雯），乃念念不忘，原来女子乃狐精所化，取名古月，出入风尘，勾引男子以供母胡聂（胡美仪）练功，但小狐仙对通却情有独钟。文通有未婚妻柳姿（蓝洁瑛），两人缘悭一面，通逃婚至京，结识皇亲江山（吴岱融）成为莫逆。时姿千里寻通，未及表明心迹，已客死异乡，化为倩鬼，乃护通免受狐精所惑。通对姿情愫渐生，芊生妒，遂化作村姑，接近文通，从而展开一段凄厉之人鬼狐恋。

　　Plot of the series:
　　In the series “Catherine Season 4 Favorites,” the reign of the Great Empress of Russia, Catherine Alekseevna II, continues. The events take place in 1779, when the queen has been on the throne for seventeen years and has reached the peak of her greatness. Her fame spread not only to neighboring countries, but throughout Europe. Such a nickname as “Great” was assigned to her by the high society of Europe, thanks to the efforts of the influential Princess Dashkova, who was always devoted to Catherine II.
　　Upon returning from abroad, Catherine II is helped by the ruler’s main associate, Ekaterina Romanovna Dashkova. 　　故事讲述了“千年将军”陆炎（任嘉伦 饰）和“仗义女寨主”于登登（李沁 饰）之间令人啼笑皆非的爱情故事。剧中有着神秘力量的陆炎阴差阳错结识了青泉寨大当家于登登，这段有着千年因缘的爱情由此展开。

　　小资女Ella（李施嬅饰）与咖啡师男友Maurice（陈山聪饰）不被看好，Maurice在金宵大厦离奇失踪，最后虽被寻回，大难不死却丧失所有记忆。自此，过往性格浪荡不羁，现在变成贴心暖男，样貌、身裁虽是一样，但性格、习性却迥然不同。Maurice 就像变了另一个人，Ella要解开这个谜，唯一方法就是由金宵大厦开始。
　　金宵大厦怪事不断，有闯入虚拟世界拯救队友的电竞队、贩卖悲情的母女、孰真孰假的绑架故事、彗星粒子引发的韩疯，遇过种种奇人怪事……Maurice与Ella的爱情却比过往爱得更轰烈，是上天安排，命中注定的一对。Ella爱上并非真正的Maurice，而是因为金宵大厦而出现的另一个他……
